ChipVORX

chipvorx_sm
In 2010, we introduced a software technology called ChipVORX as part of our JTAG / boundary scan tool suite SYSTEM CASCON. Paving the way for IEEE 1687 support in our JTAG / boundary scan software and hardware systems, ChipVORX enables the control of on-chip intellectual property (IP) of any kind, including IP for test, validation, and in-system programming.
ChipVORX technology is based on the IEEE 1149.1 test bus protocol and is fully synchronous with other boundary-scan operations. The spectrum of possible applications ranges from simple register control, over utilization of primitive test functions to control of complex instruments.

SYSTEM CASCON

system-cascon_sm The JTAG / boundary scan tool suite SYSTEM CASCON, originally developed primarily for board and system level test, debug, and in-system programming applications, is very well suited for device (chip) level test applications, too. Upon import of a BSDL file, one can exercise JTAG accessible test resources and on-chip instruments embedded in the device under test. SYSTEM CASCON software features, such as the CASLAN language and the ScanAssist debug tools, provide powerful capabilities for any kind of JTAG application, be it at device, board, or system level.
