HyScan
CASCON GALAXY provides a means to specify test channels to be utilized as part of JTAG boundary scan tests. These test channels can be
assigned physical tester hardware, such as GOEPEL Electronics' SCANFLEX I/O modules or in-circuit tester channels, for example, in order
to extend JTAG / boundary scan test coverage by involving board edge connectors and test points in the connectivity test.
HyScan is a software feature of SYSTEM CASCON that allows the test program source code to remain independent from the actual physical
tester resources assigned to the test channels. As a result, HyScan permits the a test program that makes use of test channels to be
executed with different test equipment without the need for recompilation.
