GÖPEL electronic is highly experienced in the area of JTAG /boundary scan integrations and has been working very closely
and successfully with well-known vendors of Flying Prober Testers (FPT) for many years. Flying probe test’s disadvantage, its execution speed,
can be reduced by combining FPT with Boundary Scan. A particular advantage of this combination is the ability to utilize the probes
as virtual Boundary Scan cells, allowing traces to be tested which were otherwise untestable with JTAG / Boundary Scan.
Advantages of combining FPT and boundary scan:

- Very high fault coverage even for highly complex and densly packed PCBAs
- No requirement for UUT specific adapter results in high flexibility
