LIN - Local Interconnect Network

LIN The LIN-Bus (Local Interconnect Network) is a vehicle bus standard and computer networking bus-system, primarily used in automotive network architectures. The LIN-consortium released the first LIN specification (v1.1) in 1999. The specification has evolved over the years, with the current version (as of 2011) being 2.2.
LIN is a small and slow network system that is used as an inexpensive sub-network of a CAN bus to integrate intelligent sensor devices or actuators in today’s cars.

LIN interface test module GOEPEL Electronics offers various LIN products, including Series 61 - programmable communication controllers, such as PXI 6173, PCI 6173, USB 6173, and basicLIN 6173.
