Specifics of the AOI high end inspection

A flexible illumination concept is part of the standard equipment of all OptiCon systems, regardless whether it is a stand-alone or in-line system with one- or four MegaPixel camera. The powerful concept consists of three basic modules with different illumination types. Dependent on the respective test task, they guarantee images with best possible contrast in every situation.

Maximum fault detection independent from the PCB layout and assembly situation, can be obtained by integrating the powerful 360° angled-view inspection module Chameleon.
