GOEPEL electronic's 100+ skilled employees continuously develop new and enhance existing products, while more than 250 additional specialists, including independent support centers, system integrators and value added resellers (VARs), support our installed systems world-wide. Product and customer services are inseparable in our business philosophy. We permanently strive for the highest customer satisfaction and product quality. Our products are available worldwide through an extensive network of branch offices, distributors, and support centers.

Our SCANFLEX Boundary Scan hardware architecture was honored with the Best in Test award in 2006.

Our product portfolio includes:

SYSTEM CASCON™

GOEPEL Electronics' SYSTEM CASCON software suite provides the industry's most comprehensive feature set, including intelligent Automated Test Pattern Generation and Diagnostics tools. The performance of a JTAG/Boundary Scan/ system is defined primarily by the capabilities and architecture of the software used. As the first vendor worldwide, GÖPEL electronic developed an Integrated Boundary Scan Development Environment in 1991, known as SYSTEM CASCON™. This unique Boundary Scan Workbench has been continuously improved with new intelligent tools and innovative new software features. Today, in its fourth generation, SYSTEM CASCON™ has acclaimed the status of an open graphical Boundary Scan Operation System with special features extending the test coverage across the complete Unit Under Test (UUT).

BSDL TestWriter

The BSDL Testwriter™ software is a tool for the automated generation of a test bench for Boundary Scan designs, supporting IEEE 11491. and IEEE 1149.6. It processes BSDL files as input and generates vectors for functional verification of all Boundary Scan structures. Automating the verification process, manual errors are avoided and the test efficiency is substantially improved. The BSDL Testwriter can optionally generate a STIL (IEEE Std 1450) output. This link allows the use of the generated vectors for a production test of the physical IC on automated test equipment (ATE).

BSDL Syntax Checker

The BSDL Syntax Checker is a stand-alone tool that can be used to verify the syntax and semantics of BSDL files. BSDL Syntax Checker  currently supports IEEE 1149.1 and IEEE 1149.6. It is based on the same algorithms built into the BSDL import processor in SYSTEM CASCON. Please contact us for more details or to request your complimentary copy of the BSDL Syntax Checker.

Boundary Scan Coach

The Boundary Scan Coach, a free, interactive learning software illustrates how Boundary Scan test resources can be accessed and how they can be utilized for structural interconnect testing. Boundary Scan vectors can be applied to a Unit Under Test - either virtually or on a real board - to demonstrate the IEEE1149.1 principle. Contact us now to request your free copy of the Boundary Scan Coach.
